The Bolebroke Beagles were
formed in 1925 and hunt in Kent and East Sussex. The
Bolebroke Beagles hunt the hare in its wild and natural
state, under the strict rules of The Association of Masters
of Harriers and Beagles. Point to points and much
else that you enjoy about the countryside will, within two
years, be a thing of the past, if the government is allowed
to press ahead with a ban on hunting.
The hunt actively encourages, and works with farmers, to
improve the habitat of the brown hare.
Beagles are followed on foot, so no expenswe horses or
clothing is required, just a good pair of boots and a
waterproof coat.
The only possible justification for a ban, is on the grounds
of cruelty. Lord Burns and Lord Soulsby, co-signatories of
the Government Inquiry into Hunting with Dogs announced that
their findings had been misrepresented and that their report
did not prove that hunting was cruel.
To beat this threat, and beat it we will, we do need your
support. March with us to save hunting. Click on the banner
