More than 250 well-wishers and followers gathered outside the Rose and Crown at Stelling Minnis to see the East Kent Foxhounds meet with more than 40 mounted followers.

One or two, rather sadly, thought that they were taking a last chance to see the pack meet in the village but the Master's brief speech made it clear that the hunt would be back. This message was met with a cheer.

Talk amongst the followers was of the day ahead and the meet that will take place on February 19th, just 35 hours after the ban comes into force. The hunting that day will be within the law but will show it to be the ass that it is.
