The Open Afternoon 2004
Once again hunting proves that it is open and accountable with nothing to hide.

Some 200 people took the long walk up the kennels drive to accept the invitation to join us for a cup of tea and to meet the hounds. The majority were from the village of Elham although every corner of our hunt country was represented by a visitor.
This event has, in a very short time, become part of the local scene with residents of Elham quizzing the huntsman's wife in the late spring, "When is our open afternoon?" The village very much sees the East Kent as "our kennels".
The WCB (Wye Beagles) were present with their Joint Masters, Hon. Secretary and Kennel Huntsman and a stall that allowed visitors to 'Sponsor a Beagle'. One young sportsman brought his ferrets and attracted much attention.
A huge "thank you" to all who worked so hard to make this such a success.
