A short day in the glorious landscape around Duncton, to gently try out the new techniques of trail hunting. Hounds hunted well and true on the line, but it has to be said it was a bit like sex with a teenage boy - a sudden burst of frenetic activity at high speed followed by a sense of "Is that it?" We need to work on slowing things down and making it more interesting... But a good start.

The footies amused themselves by view hallooing the quad bikes laying the trail. Some confusion was caused by a convoy of motorbikes below - "cur-bikes" we called them, though more properly "riot" I suppose.
